I love as much detail as possible when I build miniatures... I created a tea set once with a miniature tea-bag that had real tea and could be used. The set came in a box by a non-existent tea company. It had a teapot, a spoon a teacup and the tea bag. I think it was orange pekoe tea lol

My favourite thing about working on my thesis was making intricate photoshop renderings of my building including adding my own art to the walls😂 one had my own funeral/memorial with my graduation picture in it.
I love it when artists have fun putting all the extra little details into their work. People might never notice but knowing it’s there definitely brings some joy!

You’re building out can greatly increase the joy that goes into the building process itself.

I’m not a filmmaker, but I do write my own campaign settings and stories when I DM for D&D, and little lore bits and details that likely only I will know about are some of my favorite things aside from the enjoyment of my players.
