do you mind explaining why temperature causing the difference in speed?
i'm guessing it's because of air density and if so which results do you think this experiment would show under water, since colder water is less dense.

I just don't understand how you don't hear background noises? Whouldn't you hear wind and other noises before and after clapping?

How would sound works if the earth is spinning at some 1, 000 mph?
Sound speed should be faster if standing east of the source, and not at all if to the west, isn't it?
