I really enjoy reading japanese book. It was already on my ptr list on goodreads so I for sure go to read in the near Future.

I have to say that I just finished Butter and I really enjoyed it. It was a 4.5 star for me (meaning it's a book I could see my self potentially re-reading) I liked the characters and enjoyed their relationships. I really want to read this now! Thank you for recommending/signal boosting lesser known translated works!

I have my copy of First Love already but I think I'm going to wait till my reservation of Batter comes in at the library so that I can read them back to back and see which I prefer while both are fresh in my mind

The cover briefly sort of reminded me of an OMR/optical answer sheet that we would use in exams and I got anxious for a second just thinking about it 😂 The last time I filled one was in 2012 I think, for some of my uni entrance exams.

hmmmm. Called a liar from a young age. I think you talked about this book in another video and I put it on my wishlist/tbr. Will have to get this one. I saw Butter at my bookstore but I didn't like the cover so I didn't get it. Since it has a cow on it and marks that look like blood, I thought it was something to do with slaughtering animals...I didn't even pick it up. Still not interested in getting Butter, but First Love, yes.
