Don't forget the context of those trials -- it is in relation to testing your faith. Not all trials test your faith. When your faith is being tested, that testing you count as Joy knowing it produces endurance and ultimately spiritual maturity (Christ likeness)

You should do the verse in Isaiah 53 that says “and by his stripes we were healed, ” I hear that verse taken out of context so much

Yes❗ Some of us need to cry and talk about it to truly heal

Lost my home 5 Days later lost my daughter Nicole then my Mom, Heard the wrong people, family, were not supposed to grieve, because Jesus on the cross, took are grief, They took it from Isaiah 53:4 so I felt guilty, to grieve for my loss, shoved down the pain Hard heart, God grieve's with us He comfort us, ❤ mercy, Grace, Love, me who has so much empathy, could not cry, anymore, on my way back ♥️➕❤️🙏

Need one of these for the definition of tongue(s) (languages) throughout the bible.

I don't consider losing my daughter to cancer any benefit, I would trade in any perseverance and maturity I've gained for her life without a thought.

I've heard many Christians and pastors slaughter James 1:2-3, in the wrong context leaving people feeling that something is wrong with them because they felt the grief of the loss of a spouse or beloved family member, the shocking diagnosis and extremely difficult times they are going through. This left them feeling unsupported, isolated and spuritually defective, compounding their hurt.
Where do people come up with some of this stuff that is not super spirituality, it's rooted in basic 5th grade common sense.
The Lord calls us his Sheep and his children, and many are literally spiritual children holding positions as leaders, teacher and preachers, yet they are immature and thus harmful.

Thank you for that. I that that but wasn't sure if I was right.

Subtle but significant difference. This is why you can't Google a text and think you know what the Bible says. You have to know the context and the intention of the writer. Praise God for this insight.

There are some scripture that states "Let no man judge you in meat or drink or sabbath days."They take this and twist it to refer to God's seventh day weekly sabbath.
But God's ten commandment DOES NOT DEAL WITH FOOD AND DRINKS. THESE TEXTS WERE CLEARLY REFERING TO MOSES CEREMONIAL LAW AND NOT THE TEN COMMANDMENT. Visit the closest SDA church for a clearer understanding.
