I ordered these headphones in Oct 2021 and got them delivered in Jul 2022 due to the war. I have emailed Igor a few times and got updates and understood the situation due to the war. The audio quality and comfort of the headphones are excellent for their price. They are easy to drive and both quality and punch are amazing. Highly recommended. 👍👏❤️

I own the Verum Ones, and agree almost entirely with your evaluation of sound and comfort. You have a lot more experience than I with higher end phones, but the Verum's replace my previous favorite phones, the Hifiman HE560.
Build quality and look...we disagree a little. No question the all metal headband and screw in adjustments do not look factory made. But, for most people they only use the adjustment on first fitting. Then, having something that will not slide to the wrong size every time you put the headphone down or put it on is a good thing. The band and adjustments certainly seem bulletproof. I have yet to see a Hifiman headphone (particularly my beloved HE560s) that did not have a reliability problem with the band.
As for the look, being a baby boomer I kind of like the Rabbit-Ear Antenna/Flash Gordon look. But from a sales perspective, you can really tell the Verum's are hand made. Stitching and finish on mine are great. In this case looking different could be a smart sales move that helps get this tiny manufacturer noticed. I love mine. I also loved your review.

Thanks for review. Great that you mentioned the scalability of the headphones. With a decent amp Verum shines! Got my Verum Ones recently and very happy with it. Best sound fot the price. Even the fact that is gets close to be compared with Audese speeks for itself.


Regarding design - I have a Zebrano+Silver color and it looks so much better. Wooden texture is more dim and absence of gold accent makes it more serious looking.

Great review. I am loving the Verum 1, they replaced my HE-4XX. I put some ZMF Ori micro suede pads on them which made them sound a bit more open and tamed the highs a little. I am using a mojo atm. You made me want an ifi pro ican but I just looked at the price ;_;

i have the mk2 version with the new headband.not only are these headphones a real musical marvel but they are beautiful!!!i like them a lot!!!!

I have the Verums and I love the headband, never had a headphone that gets more comfortable as you wear it before. I really like them, my only complaint is that I want a little more soundstage but other than that they sound great.

Very nice. I'm a big fan of Final headphones from Japan. Not everybodies cup of tea as they can overwhelm but the Sonouros IIIs are amazing and then the Pandoras VI Hope take it to another level..

It took a long time for the headphones to arrive. I was already impatient and wrote a few emails. But now I can say that the wait is worth it. The sound is great and can rival much more expensive headphones. The purchase is highly recommended.
