if u wanna have a good and powerful engine in it use the 22E CIH which was available in the Rekord E2, Senator and Monza A2-Models. this engine had 182Nm @ 2600 RPM in stock trim and is endless tune-up able. u can set this 22E from injection 2 carboretor. a lot of parts from Rekord D / E1 & E2, Ascona B or Manta B will fit in u'r Kadett 2 make a beast out of him ^_^

It would be fun to see this car go sideways, but such rare car I believe is worth being restored and should stay RETRO. Anyway, you are gold-handed guys, so anything will look amazing!
