It’s just a carryover of what we’ve had to deal with the whole marriage!

If I’m divorced from her, and pass away, I don’t care that she gets my benefit.
I worked hard and she dealt with that.
I’m NOT divorced and I fully intend to take care of her even after I’m gone… hence the hefty life insurance, savings, and investments.
She SHOULD get my benefit since I was the higher earner while she was the homemaker.
I don’t want her worrying EVER about financial security.

So I need this answered, I was married twenty years he is ten years older than I I will be 62 in March been a stay at home mom are there any penalty’s or should I just get it at 62.
