Do you need a server for this to run on a home network? I just want to run something like this for a home lab. Does it allow you to configure windows settings group policy?

good clip. One question I have is what is the difference between Endpoint security policies such as "endpoint detection and response", and Device "configuration profiles"? For example I know I can create a policy in each of these that can be targeted at "All devices" to enroll a PC in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Which one should I use?
