Easy Wild Rice Dressing - The Perfect Thanksgiving Recipe!

A wonderful addition to your table at the Holidays! It's flavorful, naturally gluten free and really packs a flavor punch. Feel free to customize per your preference and i just know you will love it!

Wild Rice Stuffing Recipe:

1-1/2 cups of WIld Rice Blend
2-1/2 cups (or more according to your package instructions) of Chicken Stock
2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
3 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
1/2 lb of Italian Sausage, casing removed
1 Large Yellow Onion, diced
3 Stalks of Celery, diced
10 (or 8) oz of Button Mushrooms, diced
3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1/4 cup of Parsley, finely minced
Sprig of Rosemary, finely minced
Few Sprigs of Thyme, stem removed
Splash of Chicken Stock
Salt and Pepper to taste
Handful of Dried Cranberries

The fact that the first time I watched your videos was your Tiramisu video on eps 27 and it was 14 years ago blew my mind. Thank you for teaching me how to cook laura. I’m 33 now and your recipes still my go to to cook for my family❤️

Oh Thank you, Laura for this recipe. I love wild rice and this combination is going to be my next comfort food. Seriously. I could eat a bowl of this special wild rice with mushrooms, onions, celery and italian sausage. 🥰🥰😋😋

I didn't know that Wild Rice was used outside of the Midwest. It's called Minnesota Wild Rice in my neck of the woods. Wild Rice is sacred to Native Americans and it is actually not a true rice but a grass. Wild Rice combines with mushrooms beautifully, Wild Rice and Mushroom Soup is served in many Midwest restaurants. The addition of Wild Rice to dressing makes it more palatable to those who do not like regular "wet bread" stuffing.

I was always taught stuffing is what you stuff into the bird (or other meat) and dressing is cooked on the side, on its own, NOT stuffed into anything.

Looks good... but it's hard to call it wild rice dressing. There's not too much wild rice in it.
