Bring back bream - Sustainable development in action

In the autumn of 2019, a selective fishing project started in lake Råbelövssjön and Oppmannasjön - a technique for capturing targeted fish in order to restore the balance in a lake.
Kristianstad Vattenriket Biosphere Office, Krinova Science Park and Kristianstad University started the project "Bring back bream" to explore bream as a source of protein, inspire refinement and investigate the possibilities for bream to regain its status as a food resource.
