Gordon felt bad for Thomas. About he and his brothers. Especially Timothy. He remembered when he was builted. In 1920 or 1922.

I’m glad that people are finally evolving from the whole demon thing and actually making him like a character

That is fantastic. I hope Timothy, along with his spirit, will be revived as a replica and be part of the Sodor Railway Museum, at Vicarstown, where he would give rides all over Sodor while showing what LB&SCR E2s were like back then.

I like how Timothy is the E2 version without the extended sidetanks, it just shows his character in my opinion

I love this take on Timothy, it makes a beautiful brother bond unlike any I’ve seen in the official canon.

Imagine Timothy was in Thomas book and Thomas says “did you know Timothy is my brother”

I never thought I’d see the day, when there’d be a wholesome, heartwarming story about Timothy. ❤

Ngl I could see this story working with my own take on Timothy with a few changes.

In my headcanon Timothy was not an E2, he was an LSBC I2 Class, specifically no. 13. He was a mentor to Thomas (LSBC E2 no. 105), and was extremely close to Thomas as he himself was an outcast due to his firebox being too small, leading to him having trouble pulling trains. He even let Thomas pull one of his passenger trains, which did not turn out well. Thomas was pretty much only close with him
However, a few months later, Thomas ended up being attached a train bound for Sodor by mistake, and it was assumed he was ordered by the Admiralty to help build the railway. When they planned to return him in 1920, it turned out another 105 had built following Thomas disappearance, so they kept him!

Timothy on the other hand lived a pretty normal life, though he did feel sad about the news that Thomas had apparently been lost in the war. In 1939, he was purchased by the Longmoor Railway and was renamed Earl Roberts, though he kept his original name as a nickname. In 1947, Timothy was overjoyed after his driver mentioned a name from a book he bought for his child, and he learned that Thomas was not only alive, but had gotten himself a book!
From then on, Timothy's crew would read him the stories of Thomas and his friends on Sodor, which made him happy that Thomas was in a place where he was happy.

However, in the 1960's, a new engine joined the Longmoor Railway, an S100 class named Rosie. She reminded him of Thomas, and so he told her of his own experiences with Thomas and the books he was in. Rosie, having had respect for the E2s she had worked with at Southampton, began to idolized Thomas and viewed Timothy as her own mentor as well.
After the Longmoor Railway shut down in 1969, the engines there were in storage for a few years. In the early 70s, Topham ended up visiting the railway looking for more motive power. In need of a new pilot for Tidmouth, he ended up buying Rosie, along with two other engines named Neville and Hank. Unfortunately, Timothy was not considered as he had been scrapped a few years before the closure.

I could see Thomas & Timothy happening before Rosie's arrival. At some point down the line we get a story called Thomas and Rosie {a redone version of Thomas and the Birthday Mail}, where after he meets Rosie and becomes annoyed with her admiration of him, she mention her mentor Timothy had spoken so fondly about him.
Thomas gets very upset at learning of Timothy's death and starts to resents Rosie for that, which isn’t helped by Rosie going a bit overboard. At the end, neither engine is ultimately in the right: Rosie learns to not take things too far while Thomas learns not to assume the worst. The two end up on good terms and Thomas sees a bit of himself in her, both being grateful for all Timothy had done for both of them and that they still carry his memory.

Finally a story where timothy isn't a crasy engine that killed himself turned into a demon but no this is just nice because Timothy is like a father to Thomas and died due to brake faliure and i just love the scene where he disapears with a proud smile showing that eventhogh he's dead he's still happy to see Thomas
