So glad I found this vid! My Magic Mats were really warped and stretched, and I was super disappointed because I haven’t had them very long. But I broke out my heat tool and voila! - good as new! I’m a happy crafter again. 😊

Saw this just the other day and knew I had to try it out. So glad I did. I wish I'd taken before and after pics! I had one of my mats that had huge bubbles from lots of use and this heating method worked amazingly. Now I have several backups for in a pinch. (Plus new ones in reserve!!) Thank You!!

News flash! wrap your mat in parchment paper and Iron it. flip over a few times. Done in less than 2 minutes. I used cotton setting!!!!

Heating it definitely flattens it out but my Gemini Jr warps it pretty badly each and every time that I have to heat it after every pass. I was spending way too long trying to flatten out. Since I was wasting so much time I just went back to my regular plate sandwich ☹️

Any suggestions for cleaning out the tiny bits of paper stuck in the indents from the die cuts? It's almost like paper dust

I put my Magic Mat on my car dash in the sun. Wow did it flatten quickly. Watch out it will be very hot. Let it cool and start cutting again.

Mine isnt warping like that ... It's hard for me to explain .. the edges are pointing up ... The white on the side of the mat is really thick looking . Like it's peeling apart ... Is this normal and is there anything I can do to fix it ? I actually attached binder clips to the edges to try and get them to go back down .... HELP ....

Does the Magic Mat have to be used with an 🧲 mat?
If so, when will you guys develop a 🧲 mat, properly sized to accommodate the Magic Mat? My Cutter Bug 🧲 mat is looking tired and worn. My Spellbinder Platinum has both, a 🧲 base platform and the non-🧲 base platform. Will I need a 🧲 mat to use the Magic Mat with my Platinum?
