Arachne must have such mixed feelings about Melinoë; the god thing too but really just Arachne's tired pessimism, refusing to accept any form of hope has the chafe against Melinoë's optimism and relentless drive to help, even in small ways

I really like Melinöe being so attuned to the spirits and shades, since she was described as the goddess of ghosts in the scant material she has in greek mythology
