In World Adventures, Sims from China will not use a fork but chopsticks to eat. It seems to be a genetic trait, because when you marry a sim from China and have babies, they have it too ^^

In Midnight Falls in the Sims 3 Supernatural, theres the "Swain" household that all but copies the characters of Twilight. 😂
There's a teenaged daughter named "Bailey" with long brown hair and casual clothes who lives with her father "Chester" who is, wait for it, a cop! In the family summary it mentions that Chester "is worried about his daughter as she has a thing with all things supernatural..."....
Yeah....totally check it out....

In the Sims 3 pets if you eat enough freezer ice cream bunnies while the ice cream truck is front of your house. A little ice cream bunny will appear on your front lawn like a gnome does.

In Sims 3, the TV shows are actually made with Sims 2 rigs, this is also seen in Sims 4, only it's Sims 3 instead. This took me quite a while to realize as I never payed attention to the TVs!

in the sims three supernatural, you can buy a teleporting phonebox called L.L.A.M.A. which I believe is a reference to the T.A.R.D.I.S. in doctor who

In Sunset Valley, there's a Sim named Gobias Koffee. It's a reference to the sitcom Arrested Development when Gob and Tobias came up with a business called Gobias. They asked Micheal to "Gobias coffee".

My sim is a writer in the Sims 3 Pets, and made a book called "To Mock a Killing Bird" in reference to "To kill a mockingbird"

Lol I think the Lolita Goth thing is kinda a joke on the fact that the Japanese Street Fashion known as Gothic Lolita is a subgenre of the Lolita fashion while many believe it to be a part of the Goth subculture. So, she lived with the Goth family but she's actually adopted, she's not part of that family. Weird theory XD

Well there's also another thing ... if you have a profile set up and you look at the various badges you can earn, there's one called "Swan Dive", where you have to fall in love with a vampire, break up with them, get into a relationship with a werewolf, and go back to that same vampire .... Twilight hehe

In Oasis Landing theres also a household called Kenobi in the dried up ocean. the old man that lives there is named Ben. its a star wars reference
