The only thing I kind of want Yeji to improve in is: I want her to enjoy the stage more. Like she clearly does love performing, but I’d like to see her have more fun (instead of focusing so much on perfection). I feel like the overall stage for Itzy would work better that way, because most of their songs are about just loving yourself and accepting yourself (as opposed to trying to be perfect).

Is this like the first ITZY dance ranking video where yeji was ranked first? like omg finally my girl is appreciated in this fandom?! and yeahh! even itzy members chose yeji as their best dancer on seventeen interview, them saying she’s the one who can nailed the choreo the fastest, yuna describing yeji as the unnie who really good at dancing, Stray Kids members Han and Seungmin described yeji as the best dancers among the jype trainees! and not to mention yeji and her crew also won some national dance competition before she become a trainee

i feel like people mostly often overlook yeji since overall ppl mostly know chaeryeong more since her appearance on kpop star and sixteen so they automatically will think no one is better than Chae when she grows up

i think you have to clarify that youre ranking them based on sharper street dance styles lol a hiphop dancer would def prefer ryujin over chaeryoung but a contemporary or even femme dancer would prefer chaeryoung over ryujin

agree. yeji is the best dancer in itzy, she has better techniques, control, clean, sharp and open style. chaer is good too but in idol style dancing. there that's the difference.

Finally. As a hiphop dancer myself, I agree with all of your observation. No, just because you see someone improve doesn't mean she became the best. No, just because she's underrated doesn't mean she's the best. No, just because she's flexible and fluid and graceful doesn't mean she's the best. Dance has skills and techniques.

I totally agree with your ranking! I used to feel conflict when I always find Ryujin and Yeji dance moves more satisfying to watch (I thought it was because of facial expression) but now I know why ❤

Yeji is good at having control of what she wants to look like while doing the dance. If she wants to look elegant she will make the move look elegant. If she want to look bold then she will look bold. It's really a intense skill and I will give her high praise for it

I kinda agree with your points, I do like Chaeryoung dance more cause it's smoother but she never really explore in other dance, so we can't really see what she's capable of, and yes for ITZY choreo I found that Ryujin dances better because she can vibe with the music more and she got that strong energy putting into the choreo, I think that's why both Yeji and Ryujin has been selected for the duo dance thingy
