Lipid droplets with Nanolive imaging

Показать описание
Lipid droplets (LDs) are the major cellular organelles for the storage of lipids. LDs are dynamic structures which play an important role in lipid and energy metabolism actively interacting with other organelles [e.g. mitochondria].

Advantages with Nanolive imaging:

Lipid characterization
3D localization of lipid droplets inside living cells
Volume measurements
Real-time lipogenesis monitoring

Technology:
Nanolive imaging, Switzerland.
The 3D Cell Explorer is a high speed, high resolution and non-invasive live cell imaging microscope that can look deep inside biological systems. This allows you to record stunning 3D images of entire cells in just seconds and with a higher resolution than any conventional microscope on the market.

I think they're being pulled around by the microtrabecullar filaments. I'm proud to say I knew the scientist and the microscopist who did the first HVEM imaging of them!! MAGIC to see them REALTIME.
