Hey Doddy, just to add in a little. Don’t mean to be annoying but i just love the idea of removing the rear derailleur as i think its the weak link in our sport. I love that new rear hub, but you mentioned that removable ring was a good idea for maintenance, but i think that this works also as a way of having one hub for different wheels or set ups. This was one thing that worried me about a Rohloff, you are putting all of that investment in one wheel. This system i could get two hub Rings and build up two different wheels reasonably cheaply and use only one hub.

The kindernay is wonderful as transmission solution, the worse thing are the shifters imho, a cable driven actuator could be absolutely better than hydraulic that looks too much complicated and not necessary.. the hub concept is fantastic, specially because is compatible with thru axles without adapters, fitting a Rolhoff is all the way more complicated.

Does the Voag (sp?) 4 wheel cargo truck lean when cornering? It would almost be better to have a wheel to steer with so you don't have to stretch so much when doing tight turns. It would still be just as easy to pedal I expect.

10:00 this is is a shameless clone of the Brompton. I wonder if there is going to be some patent lawsuit. Also, there is a precise reason Brompton uses steel with this geometry, good luck with carbon.
