starting a random legacy challenge in sims 3 (Streamed 9/13/21)

1:32:06 I actually saw a rainbow during my legacy challenge, after my sim had tried so many times to get pregnant, and then finally she did. On the night the baby was born another rainbow appeared. So, I named the baby a rainbow-inspired name. I felt like she had finally gotten what she wanted. Four days later she turned into an elder. She raised her toddler by herself since her husband passed away.

**I always play on normal lifespan but I was so busy putting their lives together that I didn't start trying for a baby until adulthood. Inevitably it took almost her entire adult years until she got pregnant. Her husband was older and died before her. It was sad.

So glad this was on my recommended. I've been wanting to play the Sims 3 again because I find Sims 4 kinda boring right now :/ and this random legacy challenge is the perfect reason to get back into it!

Adventure-land is amazingly spooky! It was probably a try-out city for the developers when they worked on world adventures, that somehow was released into the actual game, and it only contains TWO sims... it also has "homeless" sims, though, but from the start, there's only two sims living there... I've goofed around a but in it, but I'm not completely sure what to do in it... people it with simbots...? Anyone else who has done something fun in there?

I remember in the sims 3 my pets would get invited to parties but my sim wouldn't lmao

I miss the weirdness of Sims 3 lol! Especially when the one sim let both children out of the playpen, and only one leaves with parents. Poor Jeremiah lol. I can't.

I just imagine the people at the summer festival when the weather changed was like, “ugh it’s raining to much when is this gonna (weather changes) what the, um I guess this works.” And then a girl teleports to there. “Ok now what hell.”

i'm so happy she picked hidden springs! i'm on my 5th gen of my legacy, and i've been moving my sims to a new town every 1.5 to 2 gens and i just finished my rounds in hidden springs and seeing this made me realize how much of a special connection i've formed with the town and a number of the sims moreso than any other town i've played in ts3 (been playing since 2012) :') and an interesting tidbit about my game, after i'd been playing for a while i checked on minzi cho's family and nraas like made her like? disappear and be completely locked and irretrievable? and therefore was permanently marked as a toddler despite the fact that at the time she would've probably been an adult 😧 super strange

I started this challenge recently and in mine I had to marry someone with children. I tried to get a single dad but he had commitment issues and refused to date my sim… and then got married the next day haha. So naturally I became a home wrecker and stole Minzi Cho’s dad. She’s a cute sim.
