Thank you for the oil pan idea. Was about to fit cookie sheets or food trays. But the oil pan is exactly the size I need for my pen. Thank you for the idea! Saved me some doll hairs

This is a nice simple cage to build I’m halfway through and it can’t wait to get my eggs in the incubator hatched.

I saw a trick today not to spilt your wood. Put your drill on reverse . Once the screw in a bit. Then reverse the drill. Screw in your screw. Especially on thin boards. Glenn

Love the build, but I thought I should tell you, when you drill your pilot holes you don’t have to change the direction of the drill to remove it you can keep it in the forward direction and as long as your pulling the trigger the drill will come out. It will save you some fatigue and time

Hey! thanks for the video!
I have a question
What if i cant get the 70 inches 4 pieces? can i use 2X 3 foot lengh and use 8 of them to build it at the same height?

also will 1x2 work on this or only 2x2 can work?

Thank you. I built this one but didn't realize how long it takes to build. I worked on it, probably 8 hours straight. Can you add an estimated build time somewhere? I might have just missed it

That was the best build video I have seen. For anything.
I couldn't for the life of me figure out how you were going to put hardware cloth on the floor. And then you blew my mind by making a removeable floor/frame that gets screwed into place. Awesome.

Are your 6' x 2' pens made the same way?
Do they need anything extra for support because of being twice the length?
