Smart move. I have revered Joe Biden for his many accomplishments in just one term! But, he was really the one to do it (since Bernie Sanders got railroaded so badly, ) not many have that kind of experience and drive. I'm sure his experience with Mr. Obama for 8 years, had him poised to go and bring us out of the mess we were in! I believe that Kamala's experience next to him benefitted from that combined knowledge under the Obama administration. Joe Biden deserves respect and reverence! But he deserves to rest and spend retirement with his family, free from such demands and stresses that he endured throughout these most trying years. The fact that he had the INTEGRITY to step aside in and of itself speaks volumes. Trump would NEVER, nor would any of his narcissist colleagues and sycophants (psycho-phants?) would EVER let someone else usurp their own power! Its time for the younger, progressive movement to take over. Its a breath of fresh air, especially for women who have been so badly battered by the Dobbs decision by the MAGA (psychophant) SCOTUS!
