Fibonacci House 3D Printed by Twente Additive Manufacturing (ALMOST ARRESTED!!!)

Показать описание
An exclusive look at the Fibonacci House under construction in BC, Canada all the 3D printing is done and the traditional contracting work is underway. Next week we'll get a look into the print facility so stay tuned.

The Fibonacci Sequence is a pattern found repeatedly in nature and design. This project is in the shape of a Fibonacci spiral. The tiny home movement is humongous, many people no longer feel compelled to live in a massive home and budget constraints have many considering downsizing.

Next Friday I will be releasing footage from inside the print facility with founders of the company present to discuss the various challenges and tasks associated with operating their concrete 3D printer. There will also be a video of their next generation printer and for 2 big firsts, the first in person podcast episode and the first return guest on the Automate Construction Podcast.

Thanks for sharing our project @Jarett Gross! You are still welcome to visit once it's more comfortable and complete inside!

Well done, you needed real tenacity to actually make it there and it looks like it was well worth it. TAM is really on top of things and pushing the limits and it shows! Amazing.

Good content, 👏

a tripod or even camera man can help track. There are a handful of times your figure was a silhouette, which I do not believe was intentional. Audio came through well, edits are fairly seamless and drone panning has gotten smother 👍🏼

Very nice, thank you.
Could you tell us a bit about the heating system?
Radiant floor (PEX)? Forced air? Electric reistance?
And perhaps a few clues about insulating value of the walls?

Thanks

great project! is there an way to print using a geo-polymer such as clay and sand with organic fibers? i am in the process of building a Fibonacci bathroom in Spain! Is there a mobile printer in Europe? If so, I am interested! A+
