Показать описание
This is video 1 of our series on scraping data to storing it to visualizing it. In this clip, we focus on the *requests* library. With it we can craft HTTP requests, modify request headers, and view our response object.

Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe to catch all our videos!

Intro and ending music is "Rise of Legend" by Butterfly Tea (CC-SA).

At first, I had an uncontrollable urge to ride into battle on a steed. But then I realized that this was DataSlant. Then I realized that THIS video - not the previous one - was the single most informative video I have seen in my life.

Thank you very much for this! I just started using Python a couple days ago, pretty slick once you learn a few things (and I have LOTS to still learn) but it's just like any other language. Reminds me of LISP a little bit (since it uses lists and has lambda expressions). Anyways, yes, thank you! I learn by DOING (although some reading is always required) and this is awesome.

if you dont know what to put in the header you can only write the url in the get() command and it will still work.
