How I Would Write the Next Spyro 4 Game - 2023? 2024?

So The next Spyro game would likely be coming in 2021, So I thought I do something a little bit fun, I asked myself, How I Would Write the Next Spyro Game? In today's video, we answer that question!

The problem I've always had with the original trilogy is that you never see any female dragons, which would be fine, except that eggs are a collectable in two of the three games. I think that the fourth game could be something along the lines of what you said, except maybe the second group is explicitly female and the two groups know about each other and are already allies. When the second group falls out of touch, they send Spyro to figure out what's wrong. I don't know though, just my idea :)

I quite like this idea.

Funnily enough though, I've had my own personal head canon for why Ripto hates dragons so much- my version is that a while before the events of even the first game, Ripto ended up in the Dragon Worlds to attempt domination (it's been shown that he clearly spent time travelling worlds to find someone to invade. Moreover, judging by the state of some of the Peace Keeper dragons, it's clear that enemies invading the dragons is quite common). Unfortunately for Ripto, he ended up in the land of the Peace Keepers, who took one look at Ripto's short stature and lack of power and literally laughed in his face. They then proceeded to give Ripto a quick beat down before throwing him back through the portal he came from. The dragons then went back to whatever they were doing as though as nothing had happened. The whole thing took less than a couple of minutes and wasn't even worthy to be recorded as a notable invasion. Ripto was angry and humiliated by the whole affair, and swore off of going anywhere near dragons ever again.

This is WORLDS better than anything could come up with! I would totally play this game! I'm picking up hints of classic Spyro, Legend Trilogy, and even a bit of Okami with the world coming back to life after the destruction of the dark crystals. I love the idea of a new world with new dragons and a warlock council! Fleshing out Ripto's backstory, adding new characters, I love everything about this! Awesome job!

It's nice to see fans actually attempt to pitch a story idea for a series instead of making a half-ass "joke" stretched out and filled with the usual lame "memes", or blindly dismissing the idea because "it's fanfiction".

I wouldn't mind this story being used for the next game.

I actually like the idea and if you want you could reintroduce Cynder or Flame or even Ember into this new series and have it that maybe they're the "Spyro" of their universe. Like imagine if Spyro goes to this new world and meets Cynder whose the exact opposite of Spyro like she's the Blaze to Spyro's Sonic and over the course of the game Spyro teaches Cynder how to loosen up while Cynder teaches Spyro to take things more serious sometimes.

I really liked your idea! What I loved about the Reignited Trilogy was how each game had it's own unique villain like Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and The Sorceress. I feel it gave each game it's own unique tone and feel. I love the idea of the different warlocks as it would be a true continuation without feeling repetitive. Though some dialogue mentioning the previous 3 villains would be a fun way to tie that initial trilogy to the new game. From one Canadian to another keep up the great content CGE!

I really like your idea! One thing I was thinking instead of rescuing the dragons again since that was a thing in Spyro 1 & 3 you can be rescuing villagers that were caught up in the battle between the dragons and warlocks? And helping them restore their homeworld and end the conflict between the dragons and warlocks. Oh and the thing that's being collected are villagers that want to help join you for the final battle (in replacement of the orbs/eggs).

Interesting idea! That actually sounds like a plausible way for a Gnasty/Ripto team up to play out. Ripto hears about Gnasty Gnorc's ability to crystallize dragons and invites him over to his home land to do some dragon hunting in exchange for his own realm to rule under Ripto. Of course, your five warlock idea sounds super cool as well, I'm definitely digging that. Would you be okay if I tried coming up with concept art for them? If you have more defined details for any of the warlocks, I'd love to hear about them! I assume they're all bigger than Ripto, at least?

Though, here's an idea: what if you had _six_ other Warlocks, making seven in total? My reasoning being that you could theme them off the Seven Deadly Sins. Ripto represents Wrath, as handily demonstrated by Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. That leaves Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, and Pride. Heck, Ripto could return as part of the seven with his own home world! Each warlock's domain reflects their vice. The Sloth warlock's domain is in dilapidated shape, full of broken bridges and crumbling buildings. The greedy warlock's domain is full of gold, gems, and other treasure (I think we know which one would be Moneybags' favorite). The gluttonous warlock's domain is full of food, taken from the starving inhabitants who resort to thievery to survive. Ripto's domain is fiery and volcanic, just itching to explode. The proud warlock's domain is full of vain tributes to their own glory, like statues and portraits. Lust would be the tricky one, as this would be a game aimed at all ages and so couldn't delve too deeply into what Lust actually entails. The "lustful" warlock would probably have to be interpreted as lusting for beauty rather than you-know-what.

I like this idea! It would be interesting too if Spyro runs into a band of dark dragons! Red would be the leader and Spyro would have to fight Red and his dark dragon minions! They’ll have they’ll own personality and those are the same dragons that bullied ripto! Which would explain his hatred towards dragons because the dark dragons bullied him!

I actually really like the idea of there being another dragon realms w/ Cynder etc. Maybe another idea is to have Spyro originally hail from that land which can potentially allow the exploration of his heritage (I seem to recall some lore about Spyro and Sparx being stolen away by thieves from a far away land)?
