Singrlice & Sudar Percussion feat. Mihael Paar - Pet je kumi (Live in Samobor 2021)
Показать описание
The last number from the "Folk & Roll" concert by Singrlice & Sudar Percussion Ensemble featured clarinetist Mihael Paar, who improvised the opening solo over vibraphone, continued with the embellished melody (now accompanied by the vibraphone) just to reappear at the closing section with the acrobatic use of the altissimo register and in culmination, with the elaborated counterpoint part of his own invention played over both ensembles as they performed the final chorus.
The concert was held in Samobor, Croatia on June 17th, 2021 in front of the audience of est. 500 and live streamed on YouTube.
It is interesting to note that Mihael Paar performed that same evening Mozart's Clarinet Quintet in Zagreb (cca. 20 miles apart) at 7.30 PM. The concert in Samobor was due to start at 8 PM and - as he was "tactically" scheduled to perform at the end - he was able to return just at the very end immediately entering the stage and performing the piece without any preparation.
Mihael about this: "I would not recommend this to anyone. For me - one-time thing only. It turned out good, but the volume of stress was enormous. A tip: Try to avoid a scenario like this."
