If the fact that Jillian "sought an arrangement" with a married father wasn't a big enough red flag, what she did next shouldn't surprise you... I seriously hope that Scotty's brother is able to heal from the pain an anguish that his monster of a "mother" and her "sugar daddy" caused.

As a retired police officer, I just sat and cried my eyes out listening to this story. I have seen a lot in my time but this is just heartbreaking.

The letter from her son R made me cry. Hes so brave for standing up for himself and his brother by writing that.

As a teacher I can’t tell you how sick I am of hearing monsters like Gary and Jillian refer to beating children as “discipline.” The point of discipline is to teach, not scare or hurt! No grown ass adult should be harming an innocent child over “disrespect.”
Rest in Peace Scotty, you are in Heaven now and so loved❤️

You two give voices to these children when NOBODY else will. I haven't found another true crime creator that has covered this case. Thank you for giving time to cases that don't get coverage as much as the "popular" ones do.

it's sickening to me that the attorney denied trauma therapy for the boy he's trying to ensure goes to college. what if he doesn't want to go to college? and $9, 500 wouldn't put a dent in the fund. i hate this country smh

If YOU become a mother there's one main purpose in your life... "Protect your kids at all cost" if you're not willing to do that, DON'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN!!!

my heart breaks for R. that final quote of “the bad news is, you’re in heaven and not here with me, ” made me sob. Rest in Peace Scotty. I’m so sorry the people that were supposed to love and protect you were your worst tormentors. I hope R heals along with his family.

The mother wishes she had *HER* life back, but said nothing about having her son back 😡😡 none of these monsters deserve *their lives back*

I absolutely love how you talk about the young childrens happy times - and their likes and dislikes. It gives them dignity and making it apparent they are more than just a name or a “victim” .. rip sweet Angel

A a survivor of severe CA, this really breaks my heart as I remember the horrific bloody beatings my Mother took trying to protect my siblings and I until she could escape with us. The monster that did these things to us was a big 6'3, 275 lb man and was "adored" by the community who didnt know him behing closed doors... so leaving him wasn't easy at all. Also, it was the 70s. My Mama is our 5'3 150 lb hero, she saved us along with herself! We all grew up, have our own grown children and grandbabies, Mama remarried the best man who showed us all good, calm love. We are a very close knit, healthy family who broke the cycle! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
My heart just hurts for these precious babies and I hope the adults are punished repeatedly!!

How Gary managed to get not one but 2 women is WILD, since there were no redeeming qualities about him whatsoever!!

I will never understand how a so called mother could let someone do that to her children. So sad. What is wrong with people.? 😢Thank you for telling his story

It's horrifying knowing for a fact that as we're listening to the story the exact same thing is happening to another child

As much as I love your videos, it’s heartbreaking to see a new one so often. Keep up the great work!

I feel like not enough people are talking about how the kid was denied money for help from a trust TO HELP HIM. It's almost like the government doesn't ACTUALLY want to help people and only LOOK like they are. 🙄

Imagine being beaten for no reason at all to the point of being unable to eat. Then being beat up for essentially being beat up

When a mom's instinct is to no longer protect her children, you know something is wrong with her.

The uncles statement that he doesn’t know which child was harmed more hit hard. I always remember a case from my home town of a little boy who died when he was about Scotty’s age. His mom rented a room in what was basically a drug/party house. He suffered horribly in his short life and no one in the house batted an eye. He didn’t die from CA directly, his mom went out on a drug binge and locked him in their room. He found a piece of metal and stuck it in an outlet and died from electrocution. No one noticed until his mom finally came back days later. It always struck me that he was probably one of the lucky ones who didn’t have to live through a decade or more of CA and neglect then have to fight to be a “normal” well adjusted adult. He didn’t have to battle demons and know rejection. I feel awful that I remember him as being better off, but the older I get and the more I see how society is handling damaged youth, the more I stand by my thought process even if it feels wrong.
