As a Boro fan, Ben, I wouldn't jump to any hasty conclusions. We are still relatively early into the season and a number of variables can change Boro's fortunes e.g. unjuries, form etc. Additionally, any knowledgeable fan will point out that Boro blow very hot or very cold and can be very inconsistent.
There's no doubt Azaz, Latte Lath and Conway are hitting form, Clarke is a class defender and Doak is a loan steal. If they can maintain their present run for a while, however, I think they are unstoppable.

Boro fan here - Most people think we have been inconsistent this year, and while this can be true of results its not true of performance. We've been really good all season bar the odd game, but struggled to find our feet up front. BUT most Boro fans would say its only a matter of time until we click and the last three games indicate we have. I think we can realistically challenge for a top two place. I predict 4 wins from the next 6 games.

Well don't forget when you mention Middlesbrough's defense Rav Van Den Berg (possibly best defender in the league) Dael Fry, Darrah Lenihan, Alex Bangura, Lukas Engel. Have all been injured. I wouldn't worry about their defense. They will be pushing for the Top 2 without a doubt

Boro got a real bargain in Finn Azaz ... Argyle should have pushed the boat out to buy him at the start of last season.

Make part 2 of this video after Christmas Ben. Lot of games between now and then. The depth of the squad is definitely key. At the moment the rotation of players due to injuries and international breaks is working well. None of the latter for a while now, so this is the time for real consistency. UTB.

if we can beat blackburn and hull, then get 3 points out of burnley and leeds, i genuinly dont see why we cant push on to a top 2 finish this year. Imo it is those two games (leeds and burnley) back to back that either keep us in the race and give us the boost and momentum we need, or could break our spirits. Both games are a definition of a 6 pointer

from a boro fan, we need to get our defence sorted out if we even consider staying in the prem if we get promoted. Its still quite early in the season and anything can happen in the championship. We are good in attack which is what carrick wants but we need a new defence.
Yes Latte Lath, Doak and azaz are some of the best players boro have had in recent years but it looks like latte is going to leave in january and doak is only on loan from liverpool so we need to think about the long term if we want a chance of getting to the prem

It’ll be the most Boro thing possible to beat Blackburn to get our hopes up, to then bottle it against Hull. We always turn up for the big games, but fluff the easier games. Hope the class form carries on

Good content Ben! Boro are so easy on the eye...best team to watch for entertainment, usuall the top scoring teams do go up rather than the tight teams like sheff and burnley. I think finish second to Leeds. Sheff U to win the play offs. UTMB

as a Boro fan right now a top 6 finish looks likely. However, teams like Blackburn who we have next are abit of a bogey team and we would normally drop points to them so let’s see if it’s any different with this Boro team. The next 4 games will give us an idea where we will be come May but we can give any of the top sides a game including Leeds.

Hopefully but as a fan since my first game in 1986, I know how unpredictable we are .

Great pod Ben, As a long term Boro fan, l do think anything is possible with this squad, 2 good loan players in January and its ours to loose
