One of the “best” priests I have ever had the privilege of knowing, Fr. Steve Montesanti of MA, previously of Manchester, NH, frequently told his parishioners “Everything is Gift”. I’ve come to understand that a bit more over the years and believe it to be true. I was reminded of Fr. Steve as you described your surroundings, your parents, and your body responding to hiking for the first time in a year.

Thank you Fr. Dave (and Fr. Steve) for accepting the call and for continuing to love people.

WOW, thanks for the little hike adventure :) so beautiful and the water is so very calm looks so inviting for dipping, kayak or canoe :) Enjoy your days, the air and the love that surrounds you within those beautiful folks and mountains. That's where I see Jesus within nature his existence is incredible. Bet Cragly would love to be there with you and I'm sure you miss him as well. Enjoy, keep well :)

We love Father Dave! We started watching his YouTube masses during Covid and have stayed in touch. He is definitely the coolest Catholic priest we have ever seen (I am a cradle Catholic). Great, thought-provoking homily's that are both reverent and very much in tune with current issues.
