People bag on the prequels, but people worked really hard on them and did some pretty good work.

The difference between true artiest and workers. Matthew Wood and John Knoll are proud of their work, where Adam Savage insults Episodes 1 and 2 (the ones he built models on) and says he wishes he never worked on those films.

To StarWars, com - - - hope you guys will release a Special Collector's edition Blu-Ray set with all these new special features added. Maybe after episode 9 is released, a release of all 9 STAR WARS films in a box-set! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

The beginning looks like an opening scene from the hobbit

I just want the bonus materials.  Do I have to buy all the films in order to watch the bonus materials?  Can I just buy the bonus materials exclusively?

I bought the original movies on VHS.  When the special editions came out, I got those too.  Then the Star Wars trilogy was released on DVD and I got the set.  Finally, I spent the money to buy all 6 movies in the Blu-ray set.  Now why the heck do I want to pay for this digital collection?  I already have it on Blu-ray!  I think every Star Wars fan, and most people who are into movies, already owns these films.  The only incentive we get is to watch conversations where they talk about things that many fans already know?

Not for me.

This just shows you that the success of SW wasn't only thanks to GL but to other people as well.

I used to think the star destroyer was cool, but then the guy said the sound effects for it was a broken air conditioner😥

I wonder how the model builders and SFX guys feel about some of their hard work being replaced with digital effects? A good example is when the planet blows up, the original was thrown out for a "better" digital version. It's as if these people never existed, it's a travesty. If I had worked on that stuff, I know I'd be upset by it.

I could listen endlessly to conversations about the making of the saga we all love, but I find it awkward that George Lucas is left out of these completely... Now is the time the Creator could open up about everything! The untapped source behind Star Wars

I'd buy it if 1) Wasn't the overly edited version and 2) Was Blu Ray quality.

Why does that screenplay say "Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope" if it was written in 1976? A New Hope didn't release until 1981.

At this Stage shouldn't they be giving away these films digitally for free?, I mean how many times have they made their money over on these?.  It would of been so awesome before the Force Awakens is released for them to go, "Take the epic journey again from the beginning, for free".

Everyone always gives George Lucas the credit, but he would be a nobody if it wasn't for the talent he surrounded himself by.

Very sophomoric.  Josef Goebbels would have been proud!   BTW---What makes an era "common" vs 'uncommon'?  I would wager this genius wouldn't be able to answer.
