Its been ages since I melted cans so lets get some melted today . I also make my biggest ingot from a 17kg cast Iron mold I had here. I'm not sure exactly how many I melted but it took me 2 days. Anyway guys have an awesome weekend and see you all on next weeks video.
Now Guys if you Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻😁👍🏻.

HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Hey bigstackD, been watching since both Ingot and Bullion were just puppers. Love watching your vids! Never miss an episode and always can't wait for what you do next. The precision, remove stuff carefully always makes me smile. Bigsnacked always makes me hungry though haha. Loves from Alaska dude!

I'm not sure what's more impressive, the big bar or the fact you made your 🥾 in the barrel from that far away. Great video as always.

The fact that something randomly caught on fire and it wasn’t even worth a caption has me howling. That giant ingot is a beautiful thing and I appreciate the effort it takes to make something like that and then turn it into a video.

As someone who likes to weld and just loves metal, its so satisfying just to see the hundreds of ingots you have

Awesome melt Big D! Maybe not quite as good as a copper melt, but pretty damn impressive!
Missed the BigSnackD moment this week! Would have been hard with so much to melt!
Have a good weekend mate.

It never ceases to amaze me how little aluminum is in a can, how light it is, and how much work it takes to process it. Now that you've broken in the big devil forge, I can't wait to see what else that will produce!

My whole family doesn't produce that many empty cans in a year. You must have everyone around you donating cans to your melts. Cool video. can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Its so relaxing to spend hours and hours of my lifetime watching you doing exactly the same thing over and over again… Greetings from Germany

That was pretty epic. I guessed 20 lbs, , surprised it weighed less.

You certainly had enough to make 2 of those bad boys, and I’d bet you don’t want to deal with another aluminum can for a while.

I think this video is a good testament to the work you put into your editing.

One day when I'm more financially stable, I'm gonna take the plunge and buy a furnace like this. I love this channel and I"m all about making my own ingots.

That random, out of context fire had me laughing like a maniac. Love the big bar, great job as always.

Ingot’s eye is looking a whole lot better, and he seems to be happier. The big bar is pretty impressive and your boot shot was amazing. I wonder if there is a copper skeleton in our future. Keep up the amazing work and never stop living your dreams.

ITS FRIDAY!!! So yeah that was quite impressive with the boot launching, but does anyone else have the funny feeling that the Copper ingots still in front of the chest that haven't been wire brushed, just might be remelted into that bruiser ingot 🤔. I don't know, but it doesn't seem like BIGD to keep unpolished copper lying around. We all know it's his favorite. And well frankly mine also to watch. Keep it up BIGD we all love Side note, I still need a copper coin to go with the brass ones from a couple years ago 😊
