As a long time trader, this has finally become fully understood for me. Place the stop at the entry. Let the trade run or let the market take me out. Better to take the loss for the possibility meeting targets. Sitting on hands is the BEST thing you can do for your account.

What about "common mistakes advanced traders make" ? Mistake n° 2279, this morning i was unsure about the EURUSD going up (24/11/2020), because it's all about analyzing : Wrong analyse = wrong decision. Usually, mistakes come because you don't watch the right thing at the right moment, and the few clues you have don't make sens. So it's all about that, knowing what to look for, and when. This morning there was huge ATR volatility compared to yesterday, BUT less movement, which is a paradox. For example. Well i didn't look at that, i was trying to find some clues at the 5mn chart... because, Al Brooks says hi is watching this TF 90% of the time... Yes it is soooo tricky. Even this morning, nothing moved in the pre-market time à 8h00. no, they kept it secret until 9h ! gosh i never saw that happens before.

Another common mistake? Opening a Trading Account before they've 'qualified'. A Doctor or Dentist wouldn't think to operate on a live patient. Trends continue because the people who guessed right, are adding to their position. Whereas the people wrong are also being forced to reinforce the immediate trend. As you've said in a previous video, people come into this business with unrealistic expectations. A shop owner wouldn't expect to double their money in a month.
