I hate that tentacle. You literally have the technology to do a projection on the ice so do that instead

Meh, not impressed. There's a couple small parts worth retaining & possibly expanding concept of (like break waters flowing onto beach/coast they projected on the ice). Not anything major but had to double check, the apparent I'm guessing blanket on back of chair of person looking at painting of maybe 18th/19th century ship appears very close to the RU flag (RU is red, white then blue stripe I believe, this had blue in middle of red & white. Initially bit off putting & curious as to reason that particular color scheme, order/pattern was chosen with no real connection to team colors, WA St, USA, etc). To me, music/audio felt little bit much (similar to how too many movies try to use music, usually loudly, to push/drive instead of compliment scene). The final reveal was pretty uninspiring as well. To each their own I guess... Hope they continue trying to improve it & find something authentically PNW & Kraken that's good.

To much hype for a blah intro... also a octopus and a kraken are two different species. I wish we had the sonics over a hockey team 😞

It is bad, very very bad. They have such buyers remorse for that weird Bed Bath and Beyond light up. If they must do this nonsense the best was the Boys from the Puget Sound, apparently lighting up a bed sheet is best. I could be not wrong.
