The Nurburgring is nothing but a toll road. Still considered "public road".

The green Hell is a normal road. It even has 30 km/h zones.

It's not trying to be close to a normal road, IT IS a normal road, outside Touristen fahrten the track is a normal road, with speed limits and all, while the track is open for touristen Fahrten it is still considered a normal road, technically it still got speed limits.

What people driving there have to understand as well is that, unless it's stated otherwise, they are not insured when driving on the ring, because insurances say it's a racetrack and hence they won't pay for any damages.

Next, yes, they have cameras around the entire track, they will see you, marshals are also present, on top, some people watching will also report you, so ye, if you think you didn't get caught doing a drift then tough luck.

Im sure it’s due to traction reasons for other cars
