Just got one today. Unboxed and did the cleaning cycle. Set it up to make ice and now it only cleans. Power button will not turn it off.

I'm planning to only use distilled water. That's what I did with the cleanings and that's how I'll make ice. Have you used only distilled water? If so, have you seen a great reduction in needing to do the descalings?
