The Only McLaren P1 With An Original Factory Carbon Fiber Body

This incredible McLaren P1 is the only P1 to be originally delivered from the factory with a fully exposed carbon fiber body. It was recently sold by Broad Arrow Auctions during their 2023 Amelia Island sale for over $2.4 million setting a record price paid for a McLaren P1.

The P1 was part of the Hypercar Holy Trinity of the early 2010s that ushered in a new era of performance vehicles for the street and cemented the P1 as a historic hypercar alongside the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.

If I could remember correctly Manny Khoshbin P1 also has a full carbon body.... However that change was made after some time, and not fresh out of the factory

Manny Khoshbin's P1 was originally white because they didn't offer carbon at the time when he specced his. But when they did offer it, he shipped it back to McLaren to get the matte carbon fiber. By the his one is the only matte carbon finish.

We just sold one of the only speedtails in the states and that thing was a trip to drive. Of all the McLarens I think the Senna is my favorite. It’s 100% a race car. The sound it makes on a cold start, how it feels in the corners. You shouldn’t be able to accelerate going into a corner it doesn’t feel right but it’s an incredible car. The closest I’ll ever come to owning one is my turbo s2000 but hey it still a cool track car

This was my most favourite car when it was released. The design is exquisite, the shape is fluid and impeccable, and the rear is phenomenal with that giant exhaust. It only got superseded by the Shelby GT500 2020 and the 720S.
