Slight correction. JAL calls this Sky Suite III. I’ve been on this flight on a trip from SFO-Singapore in business. The SFO-HND leg is on a 777-300ER that has the original Sky Suite that’s configured as 2-3-2, but every seat has direct aisle access, so no stepping over people. I’m 6’2” tall and have US size 12 feet. I found the footwell on the 787 to be small, whereas I was fine on the 777. Other than that, both flights were wonderful. Service, as expected on both JAL and ANA, was fantastic. Food wise, I’ve found JAL’s business class meals to be just a little bit above ANA, mainly because they offer a traditional Japanese meal. In premium and cattle class, it’s reversed and ANA is a little better.

Good trip report!

Great video. I’m flying for the first time in Business Class with JAL in 2 weeks. Flying Sydney to London. Everything looks fantastic. Are they doing temperature checks?

I fly jal quite a bit in business. Sky suite is one of the best seats in the sky but the seats in this video are sky suites 3 which are horrible and so cramped and uncomfortable.
