The primal and darkly messianic nature of his titanic power, the hardships he not only survived but conquered, the rage and sorrow of a lifetime of being exploited by others as a living weapon instead of a person, the terror he instills in others at the mere sight of him, and the simple but deep-seated longing for a friend.
