this technique in yellow and light brown would give a honeycomb effect, then pouring yellow chocolate in the bubble wrap will make honeycomb toppings

I might try a simpler version, filling the holes with chocolate frosting rather than the multi colors. That would be nice for a chocolate cake.

What a fun cake. I like the rings in the cake. I have been making two color cakes, cutting horizontally and alternating the colors. The rings would really jazz that up. I will try this cake for my next one.

I have been having a lot of trouble getting a good coffee frosting. My audience are all expresso aficionados, so powdered expresso does not cut it. Instant coffee tastes like...well instant coffee. I could use some advice on that.
