They are not used to real singing, and amazing singing as the music they grew up on was mass produced, instead of created by artists. This song means so much to people in the era it was released because it makes you realize what you feel about the person you are with. My wife and I were married 4 years when this song came out. We celebrated or 38th anniversary yesterday. I remember how moved I was when this song came out because my wife is what completes me.

I remember hearing this on the radio a lot when I was growing up. I always loved the ending where the singer holds the note and the song ends. Beautiful song, beautiful lyrics. The song starts off slow but by the chorus I was hooked, and then the ending left me with just a feeling of love for a good song. Couldn't wait until the DJ played it again. Back when they had DJS that could actually take requests.
