Let Marner walk: His agent is a dick and he does nothing for the team in the playoffs. Look at the Cup champs from the past few years. They pay 2 or 3 superstars and the rest of the team are journeyman. The 2 superstars up front are Matthews and Nylander. Tavares and Marner are off the books next summer; the team can use that cap space to fill out the forward roster and maybe sign one more puck moving defenceman. Then they'll be able to do an effective Cup run. It's already been proven that this Core 4/5 concept does not work in the playoffs, so why go back to it?

Keefe or berube. I really don’t think it matters. Of available coaches they picked on at the bottom of my list. It’s Shanny. He should have been gone the minute Kyle was fired . Not because they should have kept Dubas but it was a clear omission everything Shanny has done has lead to nothing but a stable of high drafted talent and nothing else. The more of good players you have on your team the better chance you should win leafs supposedly jave 5 good players, hower you need too perform too win in case of leafs only 2 players performed in in the playoffs hence leafs couldn't get out of first round they have the players were expected too win a cup and failed misberly just making excuses too themselves and leaf fans disgrace 😢

Leafs wont do shit this season, Next year they have 22 Mill in cap, then and only then can start to be a contender ..IF … it’s done right. By doing it right I mean firing Shanny as a start.

The leafs will have a less than 50% win streak in the first 30 games. The leafs might miss the playoffs (very close, by a nail biter, maybe with controversy). Marner might have the highest points. Matthews won't get 60 goals. Nylander won't be at his best. Woll will have controversy. Goal tending will be the excuse.
Excuse will lead towards defense (defense players on the blue line) is work in progress.

This year is a wash… marner will be an anchor all year …everywhere they go will be about him and his status. Having him play it out will be a disaster

If they sign him that’s another can of worms that will delay the development of future seasons
