5v5 tank feels like there is no autonomy in the role. You have to play a certain way whereas dps, my goal is just to kill people to win fights and support is keep people alive but other than that, I can dps when everyone is healthy.

Today I was playing tank, I was 39-7, the enemy tank was 14-7… We won the match, The entire time my DPS were flaming my for not peeling to kill wrecking ball while playing Winston, I try explaining to them that it’s better to put pressure on the supports, and they just call me trash because “the enemy tank has more damage”, even tho I’m out fragging and literally carrying them, they’re still crying, I hate this game

Also because the whole enemy team is stacking up debuffs against u because ure the only tank on a team. Counter swaping is also very annoying and unhealthy for the game. Thats why 6v6 worked better in thise regards

I main tank and i always try to take some free movement tanks, doomfist junker queen etc, im trying to learn ball (and english) now

Bro I hopped onto comp and the venture who kept diving the enemy tank and dying blamed me. I can't keep up with u when I'm not playing doom. Especially against a orisa.

I just played a game in comp and was harassed because I never countered their dva with zarya but it was their sombra that gave us a problem and they didn't counter her 🤦🏽

That's exactly it, and with there being only 1 tank now and some tanks being so dominant playing that role can be intimidating and undesirable

Today I played a game where I was rein. We have Junkrat, mercy, lucio VS Echo phara and my dps type: "Tank diff". At the need we win but playing tank sucks
