1996 Fender Custom Shop 50th Anniversary LTD ‘Diamond Dealer’ Strat Relic Aztec Gold

In the mid-90s, Fender introduced the "Diamond Collection,"
a series of six guitars exclusively available to selected
retailers known as "Diamond Dealers." This collection
marked the beginning of the Custom Shop era.

We are proudly introducing this highly collectible guitar:
The 1996 Fender Custom Shop 50th Anniversary "Diamond
Dealer" Stratocaster LTD, with relic work by the esteemed
Vince Cunetto. Only 200 of these guitars were made, making
them rare and highly sought after.

It features a lightweight Alder body, a stunning Birdseye
Maple neck with a comfortable Soft ‘V’ profile and 9.5" radius,
ensuring an enjoyable playing experience. The Custom Shop
50's Strat pickups deliver amazing sound. The lacquer finish
has aged beautifully, with the Aztec Gold color deepening
over time. The guitar showcases the exceptional craftsmanship
of Vince Cunetto, who was at the forefront of creating relic
guitars for the Custom Shop. Fender enthusiasts will immediately
recognize his name. Instruments from the "Cunetto era" hold a
special place in the history of the Fender Custom Shop and have
become highly desirable.
