Hi, I'm Lauren Hanna, Director of Public Relations of the Colorado Watercolor Society. I'm also an Associate Member of the international organization Women in Watercolor. I compete in large competitions with my work occasionally, and I love sharing my passion for the medium.
I've been painting with watercolors since 2016 when I signed up for an "intro to watercolors" class at my local art school. I've studied under several artists to round out my education, and easily spent hundreds of hours at the easel. In my free time I'll either be researching historical techniques, painting in my studio, or out on an adventure painting en plein air (painting outside), a very difficult and rewarding feat.
