I picked Rowlet as my starter. I don't really like the designs of the other two, and I've never played the Gen it's from--this is my first Pokemon game since Gen V. I played every mainline game before that, but I got bored of the formula. This looked different enough to bring me back, and it is!

Hey Aaron. While in a battle and want to throw a poke ball, hit the X button and switch to your item wheel. ZR to then throw the ball that’s selected. You don’t have to manually go into you bag anymore. You also don’t have to damage pokemon in battle to catch them. It helps sure but the likelihood of catching a healthy pokemon is much higher than previous games

Will never not be disappointed by the lack of Cyndaquil love. Typhlosion just looks so damn amazing in combat, in this game.

Here are some advice, you don't need to evolve Eevee with a snow or leaf stone. I learned the hard way.

The final boss of the main story mode is super hard to beat and it takes a miracle to beat the post game boss.
