Man, I'm so happy I watched this. When I was a kid I never saw the Artform that is Professional Wrestling, just the show and the spectacle. For that reason it took me until adulthood to realize that the people I hated as a kid (Kurt Angle, Heel Rock etc.) were actually brilliant performers with a mastery of their craft.

Listening to Kurt in this gave me an even bigger respect for him. I've watched so many shoots and listened to so many podcasts, but this is the first time I saw Kurt Angle talk about wrestling. And to know how much he truly loves the dance and the art of it all, striving for a match with a perfect story, and giving respect to those who helped him achieve it so freely is absolutely incredible.

As a musician I look at wrestling in the same light. A match is a song and it's all about who you're creating with, their skill level with yours mixed with creative passion... that makes for the best outcome. The fact that before I knew about the thought that went into matches, I hated KA with a passion. Shows how damn good he was at doing his job. I'm so happy and humbled to look back now and earn a new respect for the man because he pulled it off with so much believability... and also a whole lot of intensity, integrity and intelligence. Fuckin A' Kurt, You are so right about Austin being so underrated as far as being a wrestler just look at his days back in WCW as Stunning Steve Austin, he had such depth in his wrestling back then vs his WWE years he ended up sticking with 5 move set just like a bunch of wrestlers do and never strayed from his formula and got to comfortable with it, Right punches, Thez press, Knee of 2nd rope, along with Knee off the ropes, then Stunner his character in WCW did wayyyy more like Axe handle off top rope, his slingshot move were he'd pick them up and drop them on the ropes on their neck, Spinebuster, Elbow drop and a shit ton more his characters move set in WCW had way more technique involved in it in my opinion.
