Could there be life on other planets? Did life come to Earth from space? Have we already found evidence that aliens exist?

There has to be more life just somewhere out there. It just has to be. So many undiscovered planets, starts, like if we are the only life on a planet that is the biggest waste of space.

i always have this weird feeling inside me that says there is life on other planets and hopefully if we manage in the future to reach far enough to discover them then omg how extraordinary! but sadly many of us will be gone before we get a chance to see that with out own eyes, thats the part that is heartbreaking...

i've never understood how someone could think this is the only planet with life on it. Look how huge the Universe is. If we're the only thing that Life has to offer, that's 1 big massive waste of space (literally.) Even if there's just 1 area of life somewhere in 1% of the Galaxies that's still millions of civilizations existing that we'll probably never know about unless they do better than us at evolving & come find us before we do ourselves in. And we're barely smart enough to notice what life is here on Earth, what makes us qualified to claim what constitutes as life elsewhere?

There is definitely life out there, but it's about the time when we can find it because there are infinite numbers of planets.

My question is how did all living things on earth become what it became?? How did brains get started, and thinking, and organs, etc. Screw the universe, I'm still freaking out about these other things on our own planet

Another odd thing is that people ask if there's life in space, without seeing the fact that we are that life. So that question is already answered through our very existence. And since we are here, there's ofcourse life elsewhere. I think the evolution has showed that where there's a window of possibility for life open, there you can rest assure you'll find life. The thing is that those windows open and close with the cykles the planet go through. At one point in the future planet Earth will pass into a phase of vulcanic activity wich will close that window for us and 99% of the other life here. Then as the eons pass by the window opens again and the tiny rest of the life that somehow made it through the heat and the cold and the toxic atmosphere will flourish again. It's a miracle in its own right that I'm here to reflect on this and you are here to read it. One in a million, but still most probably not that uncommon in the greatness of Universe.

With trillions of other galaxies it stands to reason that there MUST be life on other planets

It annoys me when scientists say that in order for life to exist a planet must have oxygen and water and have a temperate climate

WHY ?

Just because we evolved with these elements doesn't mean that life on another planet has to have the same conditions

life on a planet which may be a trillion light years away may have evolved breathing cyanide gas and feeding on chemicals deadly to us, that don't require water and temperatures way below or above the Earth's.
