#expat #relocation #expatguide Few people will be as important to your expat journey as your lawyer or attorney. Whether you are renting an apartment, buying a home, starting a business, applying for residency, seeking to acquire citizenship and a new passport, have been in a car accident or find yourself facing a lawsuit or worse, you need to have a lawyer picked out and on speed dial ready to assist you. Once tragedy has struck, it is too late. Protect yourself, and your family, with simply, proactive steps. Avoid going to jail, avoid over paying. The answer is simple, but it is a very often overlooked aspect of relocation and expat planning. Simple steps will protect you. There's no secret sauce, just good reliable common sense.

Wow, you have gone places where no YouTuber has gone before... sorry, Star Trek. I couldn't decide if i wanted to watch this, or if I simply had to watch this! Great job, as always. Dude, I am laughing as I write this because one minute I am watching you talk about canned wine and Grub Hub in Buenos Aires, the next we are told to have our lawyer on Speed Dial! I'm lovin' it...sorry, McDonalds.

Allison said she had used attorneys in Nicaragua in the past, but was not happy with the services they provided. I remember she said her realtor recommended the lawyer she used to purchase her home then used a different attorney for residency. There seems to be a lot of sketchy "attorneys" in Nicaragua 😥. How do you know a lawyer is real, qualified and trustworthy until you REALLY need them and their services?

hey Scott!! does a lawyer here have the same attorney client privilege as the ones in America? sometimes you don't want him to speak about your business plans or ideas. I'm gonna find me a good lawyer now because of this video! I rented my house by myself but its because I am Spanish and could understand read write Spanish and I know a good deal and all the word salads that sometimes you see. but I am gonna start a business so it might be time! thanks
