If Singapore has so much debt, how it keeps the local currency, the Singapore dollar, or SGD, so strong? Today, one US dollar can be exchanged for 1.4 Singapore dollars. In a globally unstable situation, such results are making one wonder how a tiny nation with a population of about 5.6 million people can secure exchange rates.
