Thanks for making this. I never liked figs but have a smaller orchard and family keep telling me to plant one.

Figs I've had taste a lot like boysenberries or tangy strawberries or strawberry milk... with honey.

I can't answer for fresh figs, I did have some Mission dried figs from Wally world. When I first bit into one it was a little sweet then it became bitter. I could tolerate one or two by themselves anymore than that and I would need to make them sweet. I'm going to cut them up into small bits and put some in oatmeal. That should make the bitter taste disappear. Then I'm going to try some pieces on toast with some honey over them.

Did anyone see this last night on the Fig Festival Zoom? I did not. I saw the intro card for Ross being displayed but never anything further. Later I saw an intro card for Jamie, but then again nothing.

I have never eaten fresh figs and tried one today, I bought. It is purple, but no cracks or such. I expected a very sweet taste, not as sweet as dried figs but still I expected something very sweet. But it was a bit tangy??? Maybe it's unripe...
