Interesting. Because studies have shown that the mind is not fully matured until 25 or older, I prefer the dreams of the woman I am today instead of the dreams of the little girl from my childhood. She had very little knowledge and no wisdom due to the lack of experience needed to apply the knowledge accumulated over the years.
Learning to let go of the child has healed me. As 1 Corinthians 13: 11-12 taught me to put away childishness, I said goodbye to that girl and began embracing the woman that God called me to be.
When she resurfaces, on occasions, I slow down to nurture her wounds and love on her, seeking to understand what the spirit is teaching me. But never let the child in me, be in a self- leader role.

Jesus glorifies his Father, the one true God (John 17:4, 7-8, 22, 25):
Jesus said to the Father, “[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which *thou gavest me to do.”*
[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever *you have given me come from YOU.*
[8] For I have given unto them the words which *YOU gavest me;* and they have received them, and have known surely that *I came out from you, * and they have believed that you did send me.”
[22] And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as WE are one:
[25] O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me.

[3] And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU–the Father–the only true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17:3).
