I have a few unofficial rules for myself when it comes to FPL and one of it is to never play a defender / goalkeeper from the same team or to double up. As much as I like the Quansah pick, I'd rather add Mykolenko. I would also take Fernandes out and rather start with Jota and bring in a stronger forward on the bench. Armstrong who is on penalties for instance. I would also not go for Konsa. I'd rather take Robinson for the same price. Or in my case, Hall from Newcastle. And finally I'd rather take a Arsenal defender over Porro. I had Porro in my drafts for a long time and his pre season was good but his underlying numbers just isn't fantastic enough. Munoz might give you the same output for Palace if not better. Anyway, just my 2 cents with this being a Haaland draft. I personally went for a Salah draft and concentrated on my midfield but do have more than half the players you have in my squad as well...

I think you can transfer in Mykolenko. With Evertons strong defense under Sean Daish and his solid goal involvement for a defender.

Henderson
Quansah, Pedro Porro, Gvardiol
Gordon, Smith Rowe, Nkunku, Salah, Eze
Isak, Haaland

Bench: Vald, Hall, Barco, Jebbison.
I'm willing to run with Hall and Quansah for now, can change to Konsa if needed later.

Haaland. Still weighing defensive cost of Gabriel, Gvardiol, Porro in my backline. It keeps me from Saka. And I have a lot of mid-priced midfielders. Waiting for the pressers to make a final final. I like having .5 in the bank as well to pivot out of hindsight bad decisions.

Great team but I wouldn't start to Liverpool defenders as they are playing at 12:30 and they've struggled at that time in the past also they are away against a newly promoted Ipswich and newly promoted sides are always up for it I'd put in mykolenko burn or Andersen ahead of quansah 💪

Similar enough to me, exact same bench, although I’m leaning towards jebbison to JP, then 4.5 down to a 4m starting defender.

I’m betting against Halaand for the first half of the season. I’ll start with Salah and bring him in on the wild card if need be. I still don’t get why Palmer has suddenly fallen out of favor with most FPL content creators. Highest points last season. Surely he’s not a one season wonder.
